This basking hide arrived super quickly and wrapped securely. There were no cracks or chips, and the slate holds heat really well!
It's the perfect hide for my snake. I have a corn snake hybrid just over 4' long. I'd been meaning to get a piece of slate to make a basking spot. Well this is even better because then there is a warm cave beneath it! He discovered the cave portion today and has been curled up happily in there ever since. He also is enjoying basking on top. Nice and sturdy. Sides are plastic and hold the slate up well. This is a great multi-purpose item for a reptile cage.

The plastic case is good, but the straps that came with it are useless for attaching to the mobility scooter. I'll have to purchase my own Velcro to make the product work on the scooter. The picture shows how tight they're able to get with only a tiny section of teeth to a large swath of fuzz.
